Maureen Tobin Powers, studied at Oxford University and graduated from Marist College in 1984. She married Robert Powers in 1987 and, together, they made their home in Rockville Centre, NY with their four children, Ken, Connor, Nora and Maeve. Her career includes 30 years on Wall Street where she is a Managing Principal of Trading for Halcyon Asset Management, a privately owned global investment firm with approximately $12 billion of assets under management. In addition to work, Maureen volunteers her time with many organizations including her local parish, St. Agnes Cathedral. More recently, she and Rob are involved members of the Marist College community and chaired the Marist College Alumni Campaign Fund together. Besides working and volunteering, Maureen enjoys vacationing with her family and has had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world. Maureen is also a tennis enthusiast and when time permits, can be found on the tennis court, practicing her serve. She and three of her sisters, Kathleen (1973), Rosemary (1975), and Eileen (1982), are proud alumnae of Kearney.
