Following graduation, Dalal Najjar moved overseas starting her career in the hospitality industry while completing her degree online in Public Administration and International Relations. Following her time in the hospitality industry, she decided to change paths and work for charities around the world helping those in need.
Over the years, Dalal and her teams have helped men, women, and children in places where there is a lack of basic health care, food, shelter, and education. She previously served as Response Team Leader in Jordan working with Syrian refugees within Save the Children International, and as Merlin’s (Medical Emergency Relief International) Country Director in the West Bank/ Gaza Strip, Country Representative in Libya and Tunisia during the Arab Spring, and Team Leader for programs in Kenya, Somaliland, and Somalia.
Dalal is currently the Deputy Director of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) in Washington, DC and lives there with her husband Dale and their dog Dusty.
