WELCOME NEW ASSISTANT HEAD OF SCHOOL

It is with great pleasure that we announce Mr. Peter Devlin as Bishop Kearney’s Assistant Head of School. Mr. Devlin comes to us from Curtis High School in Staten Island where he was the Assistant Principal of Administration and Organization. He also served as the liaison for St. John’s University’s High School Extension Program and as the Chairperson of the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators in District 31. Mr. Devlin holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a master’s degree from Brooklyn College. He has taught ESL and Social Studies, as well as coached baseball and coordinated student affairs and activities. Dr. Margaret Lacey-Berman, Head of School, said, “I have known Pete Devlin for over 30 years. He is a lifelong educator who has always placed the needs of his students' first. He is a loyal, hardworking and compassionate administrator who will work diligently to continue the mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph.” We are delighted to welcome Mr. Devlin to Bishop Kearney.
