On Friday, April 27th over 100 alumnae and their husbands joined us for a Cocktail Reception at the Brooklyn Historical Society beginning our weekend celebration. On Saturday, over 300 alumnae were welcomed home beginning with Msgr. Cassato celebrating Mass at St. Athanasius Church followed by the Reunion Luncheon in the Bishop Kearney Gymnasium.
It was a joy to see the alumnae reminiscing over shared and cherished memories as they visited with each other as well as former faculty members. They enjoyed taking pictures by their lockers and other favorite places and were quite impressed with the new state-of-the-art STEM Wing.
Our alumnae are our connection to the past, and our ability to look towards the future. Donations received from the Reunion this year will help fund scholarships for current and incoming students. Without our alumnae, Bishop Kearney would not be what it is today.
