On Tuesday, December 4th, the Bishop Kearney High School Community celebrated the Advent Season together, with a prayer service, and our traditional Christmas Tree Lighting in the Gym. The Kearney Christmas tree was decorated with ornaments with the students’ names as well as those of the faculty, staff and administration. Members of the student council hung garland on the tree to symbolize the unity of our school.
For more that 20 years the Kearney community has observed the tradition of supporting various charities. This year, toys collected will be donated to the Cohen’s Children’s Hospital Hematology and Oncology Center in honor of Kaitlyn Rose Bernhardt’s (‘20) first Heavenly Birthday.
