On Tuesday, January 29th Bishop Kearney welcomed the accepted students and their families as they revisited the school and learned what makes this a unique learning environment. Faculty, coaches, parents, students and alumnae were available to share their experiences at Bishop Kearney.

Dr. Margaret Minson, Head of School, began the evening program with a prayer, after which the drumline playing “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “Grand Old Flag,” and Kearney’s own a capella group, the Tiger Tones, performed “Home” by Phillip Phillips.

Dr. Ralph Protano, Assistant Head of School, spoke about how the Class of 2023 will be able to pursue both their academic and extracurricular interests and goals here at Bishop Kearney. He announced that starting next year we will be unveiling three exciting new programs - The School of Law, The School of Journalism, and The School of Media.

School President, Kathleen Egan, shared with students and parents: “Kearney is such a unique school.  We truly are a family and everyone in the Kearney community - teachers, students and staff - encourage me.” She also named  “the countless number of opportunities Bishop Kearney has to offer” as one reason she chose Kearney.  She shared the example of participating in the Maimonides Women in Science Program last summer.

Accepted students: please reserve your spot at Kearney for Fall 2019 soon!
