MARIE COLLINS ‘20 HONORED AS 11TH GRADE REGIONAL WINNER IN ANNUAL FLEET RESERVE ASSOCIATION ESSAY CONTEST

Congratulations to junior Marie Collins who is the 11th grade regional winner in the annualFleet Reserve Association essay contest.  The competition promotes the spirit of Americanism and patriotism among our country’s youth.  The essay topic this year was “What Freedom of Speech Means to Me”.

In Marie’s essay she stated, “I believe that the right to speak our minds can open up numerous possibilities for our own benefit, as well as alter the perspectives of those around us”. Marie’s essay will now be forwarded to the North East/New England Regional Americanism/Patriotism Committed Chairman for further award review.
