The Bishop Kearney faculty recently attended a Professional Development Day hosted by Havas Health. The day was sponsored by Donna Pantaleo Murphy ‘78, Bishop Kearney Board Member and Global CEO of Havas Health, one of the largest fully integrated, global healthcommunications groups. The object of the day was to inspire and demonstrate new technologies to the faculty in preparation for the launching of our STEM Wing in September 2017. The faculty watched a presentation about machine learning technology, 3D printers and holographic projection as well as virtual and augmented reality. The day concluded with a strategic discussion about the implementation of project based learning through the use of our new fabrication laboratory (FabLab) into every class at Bishop Kearney.
Our students will have access to a brand new FabLab allowing them to experience the process of innovation and collaboration while integrating knowledge gained in the classroom. Below is a sneak preview of our new FabLab.
