This past week Bishop Kearney celebrated Spirit Week, an event organized by the Student Council. During Spirit Week, students celebrate their school pride by participating in different activities each day, wearing school colors and competing in special contests. Activities included: Kearney Shirt Day, Unity Day - the entire school wore a white shirt to show our spirit of unity as a school family, Student Appreciation Day which included free ice cream for all, Pajama Day and Green/Gold Dress Down Day.
Spirit Week would not be complete without covering the halls in our school colors. Seniors and freshmen decorated the 2nd floor in green while the juniors and sophomores decorated the 1st floor in gold.
On Friday, the week finished off with the Green and Gold Competition which included, for the first time ever, a lip sync competition! At the end of the day, the Green Team was victorious making the Class of 2017 winners for the 4th year in a row.
