Students are to report to school regular time, in homeroom by 8:00 a.m. Transportation to the site (Bay Parkway and Shore Road Parkway) will be provided by the BOE. Students will walk close to five miles and be released for the day at the 69th Street Pier at approximately 11:30 a.m. Each student must submit a Permission Form (click here), which is also on the website under Parents and Families. Please print, complete and ask your daughter to submit the form to her homeroom teacher before Wednesday, September 12th. The path is open to the public and for the safety of all participants it is required that all students wear the Kearney shirt that will be provided on Thursday, October 4th. Jeans and sweatpants are acceptable, but no shorts are allowed. Students will not be permitted to wear other designed clothing. For additional information, please contact Lorraine Macca at Lmacca@kearneyhs.org or 718.236.6363, ext. 246. Walkathon contributions are collected along with tuition. If you are interested in making an additional gift, please complete and submit the form below. If your company matches gifts, please submit form to Lorraine Macca at Lmacca@kearneyhs.org. Thank you.
